“The Bush” Project

I loved this video and wanted to share…

My 18-month old son would never go under the spurts that way.

By the way Diego is a friend and if you are in Rome on next October, maybe this (http://vimeo.com/74655804) is worth a visit.

Six degrees of separation

16 09 2013

There hasn’t been an announcement, but we started with our “Movie nights” (http://wp.me/pHAYp-2n).
We started with “Six degrees of separation”, a 1993 drama American film adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-finalist John Guare play of the same title, which was inspired by real-life con artist David Hampton.

I liked this film: the cast is outstanding (a young Will Smith above all the others) and the story is narrated in a way that keeps you willing to know the ending.
Makes you think something and then steers the course of events.

I’ve always been intrigued by the “six degrees” theory, but it is only an underlying concept in this film… it is as if you read “1984” thinking that it is all about a Big Brother watching you, but then you discover that there is so much more (and different).
In the end it’s all about the “David Hampton”‘s character… and I haven’t quite understood how it ends!
